This modest set up has been the lifeline of Leeford’s working since its inception. Today, following the same path and using latest technology and the apex scientific knowledge, we are developing life-saving medications.

2006

A Lifetime Of Innovation Begins

With the vision to become the best pharmaceutical company in India and globally, Leeford Healthcare Ltd began its operations in Ludhiana, Punjab. Keeping innovation as its driving force, Leeford was introduced to the world on 22nd February 2006.

2010-11

First Manufacturing Breakthrough

Fighting through all the rough and tumble, we successfully carved a niche for ourselves to stand amongst the fierce competitors. We began working for the good of humanity rather than solely for profits as our promoters believed in serving people. We set up a dedicated GMP facility for manufacturing oral solids and liquids in Himachal Pradesh. The urge to enhance brand awareness and gain people’s trust, motivated us to launch our own personal care brands. This led to the launch of our flagship brands MEGLOW and ALITE.

2015-16

Creation

With the considerable combination of continuous improvements and customer support our business flourished and we began our journey towards growth and development. Following the path of growth, we launched our second pharma division, i.e. Wellness. We aimed at providing affordable healthcare and wellness products to our consumers with around 70 products in our portfolio. In addition to this, we inaugurated our first WHO-GMP approved External Preparations unit in Himachal Pradesh.

2017-18

Formulation & Development

Yet another feather in manufacturing was added with the inauguration of our second WHO-GMP facility to produce general oral solids and liquids. Passionate about innovation, Leeford’s collection consists of latest technologies and drug delivery systems. Also, aiming to bring innovation in our processes as well, we set up our first Formulation & Development wing in Himachal Pradesh.

2019-21

Investing In The Future

Two years into the Covid-19 pandemic, we learnt a lot about resilience; what makes us stronger, safer & more adaptable. This was the learning phase – how do we manage to allocate our resources and how do we strategize to keep our resources safe. To expand our manufacturing capabilities, we inaugurated yet another External Preparations unit to manufacture drugs, cosmetics and Ayurvedic products.

2022-23

Pursuing Expansion

When the industry was recovering from the brunt of the loss of people and businesses during the pandemic, we worked on strengthening the internal management systems and laid down the foundation of our ethical business. Marching ahead passionately, Leeford launched its newest offspring as its super-specialty division called Leeford Medi Sciences to focus on developing life-saving therapies in order to serve people in need.
